International Grid Trust Federation Drafts

Between the three inter-continental PMAs (EUGridPMA, APGridPMA and TAGPMA), the International Grid Trust Federation is there to promote interoperable trust levels and mutual trust relationships. The following draft documents are relevant to this interrelation.

    This version is for further discussion in the TAG and APGridPMA, where the EUGridPMA proposes these changes for discussion during their April 2009 meetings. The changes are intended to allow a single issuing member organisation to host multiple authorities that will issue the same DN to the same identity (guaranteeing that the same DN will always point to one and only one entity), but potentially from different CAs with a different LoA (e.g. SLCS and MICS).

    The overview of changes is here, and is limited to sections 3 (clarification of wording only) and section 3.1 (allowing this limited overlap).
